La rotura de stock<\/em> se refiere a la cantidad de demanda solicitada por un consumidor o cliente no satisfecho por la ausencia de stock<\/em> suficiente para atenderla<\/strong>. Se produce una rotura de stock<\/em> cuando al recibir un pedido de cierto producto o materia prima, la empresa no dispone del mismo en los almacenes en las cantidades y condiciones demandadas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Para poder manejar la rotura de stock<\/em>, toda maniobra de gesti\u00f3n de stock<\/em><\/a> se basa sobre un delicado equilibrio entre la demanda de producto y su existencia en almac\u00e9n.
